الجمعية الأردنية للسياحة الوافدة وطيران الإمارات توقّعان مذكرة تفاهم لتعزيز التعاون ودعم السياحة الوافدة إلى الأردن
عمّان – وقّعت الجمعية الأردنية للسياحة الوافدة مذكرة تفاهم مع طيران الإمارات في الأردن، بهدف توثيق وتعزيز أطر التعاون بين الجانبين، ودعم جهود الترويج السياحي للمملكة في الأسواق الخارجية، بما يسهم في زيادة أعداد الزوار وتعزيز تنافسية الوجهة السياحية الأردنية.
ووقّع مذكرة التفاهم عن الجمعية رئيس مجلس الإدارة السيد نبيه ريال، بحضور أعضاء مجلس الإدارة والمديرة التنفيذية وعدد من أعضاء الهيئة العامة، فيما وقّعها عن طيران الإمارات السيد محمد بن حفيظ مدير العمليات التجارية في الأردن والضفة الغربية، بحضور السيد أحمد صدر
رئيس قسم مبيعات التجزئة ومركز الاتصال في الأردن والضفة الغربية.
وتتضمن مذكرة التفاهم التعاون في عدد من المجالات ذات الاهتمام المشترك، من أبرزها توفير أسعار تذاكر مخفضة لأعضاء الجمعية خلال رحلات العمل، إلى جانب التعاون في تنظيم ورش العمل الخارجية والمعارض والرحلات التعريفية، والاستفادة من شبكة علاقات طيران الإمارات وحضورها في الأسواق الخارجية لدعم هذه الأنشطة والترويج للأردن كوجهة سياحية.
كما تهدف المذكرة إلى حث أعضاء الجمعية على دعم طيران الإمارات من خلال تشجيع وكلائهم وشركائهم في الخارج على استخدام طيران الإمارات ضمن برامجهم السياحية إلى الأردن، إضافة إلى العمل على تطوير برامج سياحية مشتركة تربط بين الأردن ودولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة وتسويقها عبر شبكة طيران الإمارات وأسواقها العالمية.
وأكدت الجمعية الأردنية للسياحة الوافدة أن توقيع مذكرة التفاهم يأتي في إطار حرصها على تعزيز الشراكة مع شركات الطيران الدولية، وتوسيع قنوات التعاون التي من شأنها دعم القطاع السياحي الأردني وزيادة قدرته على الوصول إلى الأسواق العالمية.
وشددت الجمعية على أن مجالات التعاون بموجب مذكرة التفاهم تتركز على الوجهات والأسواق التي لا تخدمها الناقل الوطني، الملكية الأردنية، مثل اليابان ، الشرق الأقصى ، امريكا الاتينيه و غيرها، بما يراعي مبدأ التكامل مع دور الناقل الوطني، ويعزز في الوقت ذاته من قدرة قطاع السياحة الأردني على الاستفادة من شبكات الطيران الدولية والوصول إلى أسواق جديدة.
وتأتي هذه الخطوة في إطار جهود الجمعية الرامية إلى بناء شراكات فاعلة مع مختلف الجهات ذات العلاقة بالقطاع السياحي، وتعزيز التعاون بين القطاع السياحي وشركات الطيران بما يخدم أهداف المملكة في تنمية السياحة الوافدة، ورفع أعداد الزوار، وتعزيز مكانة الأردن على خريطة السياحة العالمية.
Jordan Inbound Tour Operators Association and Emirates Airline Sign MoU to Enhance Cooperation and Support Inbound Tourism to Jordan
Amman – The Jordan Inbound Tour Operators Association (JITOA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Emirates Airline in Jordan, aiming to consolidate and strengthen cooperation frameworks between the two parties and support the Kingdom’s tourism promotion efforts in foreign markets. This partnership is designed to increase visitor numbers and enhance the competitiveness of Jordan as a tourist destination.
The MoU was signed on behalf of the Association by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Nabih Rial, in the presence of board members, the Executive Director, and several members of the General Assembly. On behalf of Emirates, it was signed by Mr. Mohammad Bin Hafiz, Commercial Operations Manager for Jordan and the West Bank, in the presence of Mr. Ahmad Sadr, Head of Retail Sales and Contact Center for Jordan and the West Bank.
The memorandum encompasses cooperation in several areas of mutual interest, most notably providing discounted flight rates for Association members during business trips. It also involves collaborating on the organization of overseas workshops, exhibitions, and familiarization trips, as well as leveraging Emirates’ network and presence in foreign markets to support these activities and promote Jordan as a tourist destination.
Furthermore, the MoU aims to urge Association members to support Emirates by encouraging their overseas agents and partners to utilize Emirates Airline within their tour packages to Jordan. Additionally, the agreement seeks to develop joint tourism programs connecting Jordan and the United Arab Emirates, which will be marketed across the Emirates network and its global markets.
The Jordan Inbound Tour Operators Association emphasized that signing this MoU falls within its commitment to strengthening partnerships with international airlines and expanding cooperation channels that will support the Jordanian tourism sector and boost its ability to reach global markets.
The Association stressed that the areas of cooperation under the MoU focus on destinations and markets not currently served by the national carrier, Royal Jordanian—such as Japan, the Far East, Latin America, and others. This approach respects the principle of complementarity with the national carrier’s role, while simultaneously enhancing the Jordanian tourism sector’s capacity to benefit from international aviation networks and access new markets.
This step is part of the Association’s ongoing efforts to build effective partnerships with various tourism-related entities and to bolster cooperation between the tourism sector and airlines. Ultimately, this serves the Kingdom’s overarching goals of developing inbound tourism, increasing visitor numbers, and cementing Jordan’s position on the global tourism map.
